Upon your arrival at Caledonia Golf & Fish Club in Pawleys Island, just south of Myrtle Beach, it quickly becomes evident you are on special, almost sacred, grounds. Built on an old rice plantation, the grand entrance takes golfers back in time through rows of twisted live oaks and hanging Spanish moss to reach the Old South-style clubhouse. Course is usually the best of the week but some of the putting surfaces were not a good as normal and pace of play was a little slow especially on the back nine.
