About the course
Why golfers play Dunes Golf and Beach Club
Dunes Golf and Beach Club is the Robert Trent Jones classic from 1948, a private club on the Myrtle Beach oceanfront that opens its tee sheet to golf package guests. At 7,370 yards with a slope of 148 and a course rating of 76.1 it is a stern test for low handicaps and confident players, with shorter tee sets giving mid handicappers a fair run at a famous layout. The par 5 13th, known as Waterloo, bends around Lake Singleton and is the hole every golfer wants to play. Ranked among the top courses in the region, it belongs as the centerpiece round of any Myrtle Beach golf trip.
