The Legends Golf Resorts’ Moorland Course in Myrtle Beach is known as one of the toughest tests of golf in the Eastern United States, and for good reason. Designed by renowned architect P.B. Dye, Moorland is similar in layout to the PGA West Stadium Course, using extreme elevation changes, hazards of natural grasses, sand, water and waste areas and multi-tiered greens to create incredible undulations and scenery.

Too much water applied overnight. Significant rutting in the spongy fairways due to carts in the fairways. No information at all communicated by the starter about wet fairways or anything else. I quit after 9 holes and over 2 and a half hours on an overloaded, over-watered course. Disappointing as I had high expectations after the first four days of the trip.
