The Tournament Players Club of Myrtle Beach allows golfers, regardless of handicap, to experience what it’s like to play on the PGA Tour. Host of the 2000 Senior Tour Championship, which was won by Hall-of-Famer Tom Watson and attended by other legends of the game, the TPC of Myrtle Beach gives golfers the chance to walk in the footsteps of some of the game’s greatest names. Renowned architect Tom Fazio designed this championship-caliber layout to be a true test of golf.

Perhaps expectations hurt my perceptions as I would have expected faster greens. And the course was filled with dead grass spots. Very surprising for a TPC compared to the many other TPCs we’ve played.
