Monday After the Masters Makes Myrtle Beach Return
The pro-am event that garnered praise for contributions to charity is back.
The Hootie & the Blowfish Monday After the Masters Pro-Am will be April 11, 2022. What began as a small charity tournament has blossomed into one of the nation’s top pro-am events. There are changes, such as the elimination of general admission tickets.
This event has raised millions for educational and youth golf programs. Members of Hootie & The Blowfish, a rock band from Columbia, S.C., hosts this tournament in Myrtle Beach.
Where Will They Play for the Monday After the Masters Pro-am?
They’ll tee it up at The Dye Club at Barefoot Resort in North Myrtle. This venue consists of four courses:
THE NORMAN COURSE
Greg Norman’s design is a breathtaking challenge, set against the Intracostal Waterway. If you’ve played a southwestern US desert course, you’ll recognize the style (without the desert!)
THE LOVE COURSE
You’ll love the Lowcountry feel to this course. There are unique features of recreated plantation home ruins near Nos. 3-7 in this Davis Love III design. Its landing areas will remind you of those on Pinehurst #2.
THE FAZIO COURSE
Reminiscent of European courses, this Tom Fazio design adds character. It has a Lowcountry vibe because of the live oaks, native grasses, natural areas, pine, and sand. You’ll enjoy broad tree cover and lakes in the landscaping.
THE DYE COURSE
Welcome to Barefoot Resort’s only semi-private facility, bordering the Carolina Bays. True to Pat Dye designs, this track has plenty of traps for errant shots. It makes for an unforgettable experience.
