About the course
Why golfers play Aberdeen Country Club
Aberdeen Country Club, a Tom Jackson design that opened in 1989 in Longs, shows off the marshlands and mature pines of the South Carolina low country. Generous fairways and strategic bunkering define the layout, and with a slope of 135 and a course rating of 72.6 it leans toward confident players and lower handicaps from the back, while the forward tees keep it enjoyable for mixed groups. The par 3 4th is the hole most golfers remember, asking for a precise tee shot over water to a well guarded green. Lush Bermuda grass keeps conditions consistent through the year. The course is bookable on our live tee sheet, which makes it simple to slot into a North Myrtle Beach golf trip as a change of pace between the bigger name rounds.

★★★★★“In great shape, only played 9, rain came”
★★★★★“Course was in decent shape. Some holes had damage on the tees. The starters were completely rude to my party and another party. They were very arrogant and spoke down to the players. I also asked if I could take a cart to my car so I didnt have to carry my clubs. They said no and that it was a course policy. So I went to my car and grabbed my clubs. Brought them over and they basically lifted them onto a cart, strapped them in and then stood there waiting for a tip, again, after being rude. We finish playing and I go to drop off the cart and walk my clubs to the car and they say I can drive out to my car and drop them off..?? Thought that was against club policy. The pro shop was great, but the condescending starters think they can speak poorly to people and take advantage of others kindness and it doesn’t matter. I’d never recommend this course to anyone simply because of the starters”
★★★★★“Did not play due to weather”

★★★★★“Staff very Freindly,Nice course,”
★★★★★“(Winter golf) course was in EXCELLENT condition, great layout, staff friendly”
★★★★★“will not return”
