It stretches to 7,155 yards, and with a slope of 140 and a rating of 74.3 the course is a stern test for low handicaps and confident players, although the multiple tee sets bring it back to a fair round for mid handicappers. Wide fairways offer room off the tee, but the green complexes and bunkering demand accuracy. The long par 5 18th, with its risk and reward approach in front of the clubhouse, is the finish the round builds toward. Conditioning and presentation are consistently strong. It is the headline round of a Brunswick County golf package and sits comfortably in any three or four round golf trip.
