Gifts A Big Part Of’s Spring Packages

The process of combining the rounds of golf with hotel and resort accommodations is not new, having begun in Myrtle Beach decades ago. But, the official golf website of Myrtle Beach, gives thousands of visitors access to Myrtle Beach golf packages that include some pretty incredible extras, along with the already-excellent rounds of golf and accommodations all across the Grand Strand.  One site-wide policy and two separate packages in particular serve to amp up the savings by offering these freebies to the visiting golfers who are so important to the area.

The policy of note is Spring Stay & Play: which gives each player two free gifts alongside any golf package of four or more rounds of golf. The deal gives visitors a $35 value free, as a thank-you for their business. has partnered with PGA Tour Superstore and Carrabba’s Italian Grill for this promotion.

All golfers booking four-round (or more) packages through will receive a $20 gift card courtesy of PGA Tour Superstore, which is valid toward the purchase of clubs, golf balls, apparel, accessories and other merchandise. There are two Myrtle Beach PGA Tour Superstore locations — across from Broadway at the Beach and in North Myrtle Beach—that total nearly 200,000 square feet of shopping space. If it has to do with golf and you can’t find it at PGA Tour Superstore, it probably doesn’t exist!

Golfers will also receive a $15 gift card good at any of three Carrabba’s Italian Grill locations—Murrells Inlet, Myrtle Beach and North Myrtle Beach—on the Grand Strand. Carrabba’s serves Italian many specialties with a modern influence and is extremely well-regarded, both for its good food and its convivial atmosphere.

Two individual packages offered by also give plenty in savings to visiting golfers. The first is the Prime Times Rewards package, which is available through June 1, 2014. Players who book four or more rounds at any of the area’s 22 Prime Times Signature Courses will receive a $100 Prime Times Rewards Card, valid at any of those facilities and redeemable for food, drink and merchandise in the pro shop. Courses available through this package include King’s North at Myrtle Beach National, Pine Lakes Country Club and Long Bay Club and Pawleys Plantation Golf & Country Club, the only two courses in the area designed by Jack Nicklaus.

The other package that sports significant bonus savings for golfers is the Swing Before Spring package. Available through February 28, 2014, it is a three night/three round package that gives each player $145 in free gifts. This includes a $40 PGA Tour Superstore gift card, a $30 Dining Out Gift Card—good at Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse, Banditos Restaurant & Cantina, Croissants Bistro & Bakery, Castano’s Italian Steakhouse and Carrabba’s Italian Grill. Finally, anyone who takes advantage of this package also receives two sleeves of golf balls, a shoe bag and a hat, all courtesy of Nike.
