Fall is when Myrtle Beach golf makes the most sense. The heat backs off, the Bermuda surfaces have had a full summer to mature, and a group can play four straight days without anyone hiding in the shade at the turn. It is also a season where the package price does a lot of work for you, because green fees, cart, lodging and taxes get bundled into one number per golfer instead of six separate receipts.

This is a plain look at what a fall golf package includes on the Grand Strand, what groups actually pay, and which of our current deals are worth building a September, October or November trip around.

What Is Actually in a Fall Golf Package Start Here

A Myrtle Beach golf package is one price per golfer that covers the golf and the lodging together. The standard build looks like this:

  • Green fees and cart fee on every round in the package.
  • Lodging for the nights of the trip, from oceanfront resorts to golf villas and large condos.
  • All taxes and resort fees rolled into the quoted number, so nothing lands on you at check in.
  • Confirmed tee times arranged in a sensible daily order rather than scattered across the Strand.
  • A local Golfmaster who reviews the booking and handles changes if the group size or dates move.

Some packages add more. Lunch, drinks at the clubhouse, range balls, discounted same day replays, welcome gifts and gift cards all appear on specific packages, and those extras are where a fall trip quietly gets better value than the headline price suggests.

One Number, Not Six

The useful comparison is not our green fee against a public rate. It is our per golfer package price against the total of what your group would pay booking rooms, rounds, carts and taxes separately. That total is where the package savings show up.

Why Fall Packages Are Worth the Season Season Guide

Fall is peak golf season on the Grand Strand, so it is not the cheapest season on the calendar. What it is, is the season where the money buys the most golf.

  • Playable weather all day: Average highs run about 84°F in September, 77°F in October and 70°F in November, which makes 36 hole days realistic in a way July never is.
  • Mature turf: Warm season grasses have had the full growing season behind them, though conditions always depend on each course’s weather and maintenance program.
  • Replays are cheap and usable: Afternoon replay rates are at their most useful when the afternoon is comfortable and the light holds.
  • Course choice is wide open: More than 65 Grand Strand courses are available through MyrtleBeachGolf.com, so a fall lineup is not limited to whoever has space.
Summer is cheaper per round. Fall gives you more rounds you actually want to play.

What a Fall Golf Package Costs Pricing

Across the year, Myrtle Beach golf packages generally run $400 to $1,200+ per golfer, and fall trips sit in the middle and upper part of that band because it is a high demand season. The number moves with five things: your dates, how many rounds, which courses, the lodging style, and how many golfers are sharing rooms.

$700–$1,000 Typical Fall Trip
$1,000+ Premium Fall Trip

Value Fall Package $400–$700 per golfer

Three or four rounds · shared villa or condo · flexible course list

This is the band for groups that will share bedrooms, take early week dates, and let us pick strong courses rather than naming the most requested ones. Mid September and mid November dates land here most often.

$

Typical Fall Package $700–$1,000 per golfer

Four rounds · comfortable lodging · recognizable courses

Most October groups end up here. Four rounds on courses people have heard of, oceanfront or resort lodging, morning tee times, and enough room in the schedule for a replay on one of the days.

Why We Do Not Publish a Fixed Fall Rate

Course rates and lodging rates move week to week through the fall, and a package price only means something once it is attached to real dates, a real group size and a real course list. The ranges above are honest planning numbers. The quote is the actual number, and it is free.

Four rounds · 21 Founders Group courses to choose from

Multi Round and Replay Discounts Every Package

Two or more rounds · Myrtle Beach Golf Trail and Hammock Coast Golf Trail

The replay package adds a discounted same day afternoon eighteen on top, and better rates are often available on afternoon tee times or early week dates.

Fall Courses Worth Building the Package Around Course Ideas

Fall is the season to spend the golf budget on the courses that reward good weather and firm turf. Three that consistently anchor a fall lineup:

TPC Myrtle Beach in Murrells Inlet

TPC Myrtle Beach Championship Test

Tom Fazio design · former Senior Tour Championship host · Murrells Inlet

A polished, tournament feeling course that plays firm and fast in the fall. It is the natural centerpiece of a South Strand package and pairs cleanly with Caledonia, True Blue or Blackmoor on the surrounding days.

3

Caledonia Golf & Fish Club Bucket List

Mike Strantz design · live oaks and rice field setting · Pawleys Island

The most requested single round on the South Strand, and the one that fills first in October. If Caledonia is on the list, book it before anything else in the package and fit the rest of the week around that tee time.

Six Ways to Bring a Fall Package Price Down Save Money

  • Move to early week: A Sunday through Wednesday fall trip prices differently from Thursday through Sunday, and the courses are quieter.
  • Take afternoon tee times: In September and October the afternoon is comfortable, and afternoon rates are lower.
  • Fill the beds: Package pricing is per golfer and lodging is per unit, so two golfers per bedroom moves the number more than any course swap.
  • Trade one premium round: Swapping a single top tier course for a strong mid tier one usually saves more than trimming a night.
  • Play the deal, not around it: If a package gives a free round for four courses or 15 percent for all four, playing three leaves the discount behind.
  • Stay in one area: Grouping courses near the lodging saves fuel, saves an hour a day and makes replays practical.

Deposits, Balances and Cancellations Booking

A fall package is held with $100 per guest. Each golfer can pay their own deposit online or the organizer can cover the whole thing, and the balance is due 30 days before arrival. There are no platform fees on top.

Cancellation terms scale with how close you are to arrival. At 31 days or more out the fee is $35 per person, or you can take a full credit toward a future package. Inside 30 days the fee is $100 per person, again with a credit option. Full terms are on the FAQ, and it is worth reading them before the group commits to dates.

Book Fall Early

October is the busiest golf month on the Grand Strand. Premium courses, morning tee times and multi bedroom villas are the three things that run out first, and they run out in that order.

The Bottom Line

Fall packages are not the cheapest of the year, but they deliver the most golf per dollar because the weather lets you use every round you paid for. Pick the dates, pick the one course that has to be on the list, then let the deals decide the rest of the lineup.
