Golf Season, the Best Season is Finally Here!

Fall is finally here!

The summer golf season has been great here in Myrtle beach, but let's face it we are all ready for the cooler temperatures and the golfers to start flooding to Myrtle Beach! All of the courses are in great shape and ready for the golfers we have arriving throughout the next three months!

Towards the end of August Myrtle Beach Golf Holiday and Golf.com host the world’s largest amateur championship!  It’s a four day tournament where almost every course along the grand strand participants in at least one or two days.  There are over 60 flights of both men and women which compete for the title of the low net champion.  Every night they also host what is called the “World’s Largest 19th Hole” where vendors like MyrtleBeachGolf.com have the chance to bring out information and run a booth through the week. We had a booth all four nights and got a lot of great feedback from current guests and possible guests that may be coming to Myrtle Beach in the near future!

We are also giving away a Camaro this year as all of you know! If you haven't signed up make sure you do here. We had the Camaro at the World Am, and it was a HIT! Along with the big prize of the Camaro we are also giving away monthly trips to Myrtle Beach, and sets of golf clubs!  Don't forget to sign up, it's never too late! I had the chance to play some golf of my own this past week! I played the Norman course at Barefoot Resort! Great course, great staff, awesome experience! It was in great shape and quite challenging too. The views along the waterway we're great- make sure to check this course out on your next trip to Myrtle Beach!

Barefoot Resort also had some other exciting news they are now the home of the Greg Norman Champions Golf Academy.  The academy use to be held at Long Bay Resort, but just currently relocated to Barefoot! The facility it top of the line, and very exciting with the closeness of the Norman course and Academy all in one spot! Check it out here, they have something to offer for all skill levels!

Lastly we just hosted our first annual MyrtleBeachGolf.com customer appreciation outing at Myrtle Beach National South Creek!  It was a FREE round of golf, no strings attached for our loyal email database members! The first 200 people to sign up received a round on us, including goodie bags, and free drinks! We filled it up very quickly which was encouraging and also had great feedback from  our guests that played! This will most likely be a yearly event we host, so stay tuned and check your emails you never know what you may receive!
