The directive to simplify the golf trip planning process took root in town decades ago and ever since, golf courses, hotels and independent contractors alike have worked to take as much of the pressure of choosing what golf courses to play and what accommodations are best off of visitors as possible.
Myrtle Beach Best – Play 3, Get 1 Free: from $164 per golfer
One of the most popular packages in Myrtle Beach, this one allows players to book three rounds at a wide range of courses in the area, and includes a fourth round free! This package is available for rounds played now through March 19, 2014, with golf packages starting as low as $164.
Swing Before Spring: from $297 per golfer
The Swing Before Spring package is one of the beach’s most innovative, combining savings on golf with excellent extra gifts and savings. Each golfer on this package, in addition to staying three nights and playing three rounds of golf, receives the following: a $40 gift card to PGA Tour Superstore, a $30 Dining Out gift card valid at Ruth’s Chris, Banditos, Croissants, Castano’s or Carrabba’s Italian Grill, and a Nike gift bag that includes two sleeves of golf balls, a Nike hat and a Nike shoe bag. This package runs through February 28, 2014.
Prime Times Rewards Package: from $298 per golfer
One of the newest golf packages to debut in the area, the Prime Times Rewards Package has received wide acclaim from numerous visitors who praise its excellent value. It is an innovative four-round package that gives each player a $100 Prime Times Rewards Card, redeemable for food, drink or pro shop merchandise at any of Myrtle Beach’s 22 Prime Times Signature Courses, including the Grande Dunes Resort Club, Pawley Plantation Golf & Country Club and more. This package is available for golf and lodging through June 1, 2014.
Barefoot Resort – Play 3, Get 1 Free: from $484 per golfer
Barefoot Resort, located in the heart of North Myrtle Beach, has been known as one of the finest places to stay and play golf on the Grand Strand ever since opening. Its four golf courses are among the most sought-after in the area and its Dye Club course hosts the annual Monday After The Masters Hootie & The Blowfish Celebrity Pro-Am. With this package, if you book rounds at three of Barefoot’s award-winning courses and stay on-site, the round on the fourth is included, free. This package also runs through June 1, 2014.
Legends Resort – Play 4, Get 1 Free: from $326 per golfer
Legends Resort houses three of Myrtle Beach’s best-value golf courses in the Heathland, Moorland and Parkland layouts. Two other excellent courses are also included under this umbrella: Heritage Club in Pawleys Island and Oyster Bay just over the North Carolina border in Calabash. Until June 1, 2014, play four of the Legends Group courses and play the fifth for free. And as always at the Legends, breakfast, lunch and two draft beers are included each day.
