The Tradition Golf Club in Pawleys Island feels like it’s a world away from the bright city lights. Built on a rice plantation over 500 years old, and designed by renowned architect Ron Garl, this championship layout was made to the exacting standards established by other Tradition Clubs but is located in a unique South Carolina lowcountry setting.

It’s a great track and you can tell work has been done on it over the past couple of years, as the conditions were better than last year. It was the only course that seemed really dry, understandable given the lack of rain. But the greens ran true. It will probably remain a mainstay on our list to play as it is the type of course suited for everyone
