1. McIlroy to NIKE- super pumped about this news and now it’s official. All rumors can be put to rest; Nike golf has got their A Team on staff this year including Tiger Woods, Nick Watney, and Kyle Stanley.
2. Spirit Airlines recently added direct flights to Baltimore and Philadelphia- that means Baltimore and Philly peeps- no more excuses on ways to get down to Myrtle Beach! Flights from $99.
3. Dustin Johnson: Myrtle Beach’s own wins the PGA tour season opener in Hawaii.
4. The Mike & Mike show on ESPN will be returning to the Myrtle Beach area for the Monday After the Masters Golf Tournament on April 15, 2013.
5. This year will be the 30th anniversary for the World Am Golf Championship hosted here in Myrtle Beach. Make sure to check it out if you haven’t yet attended or played in it. August 26-30 2013.
